Thalangama Tank

This is situated between Pothuarawa GND and Wickramasinghapura GND. This has built in the era of King Parakramabahu the 6th for paddy cultivation. The surrounding area of tank is a habitat for around 90 bird species (13 are migrants), and also for exotic and endemic fresh water fish species
